Idylle Beach is located off the north-east coast of Madagascar on the island of Sainte Marie. It features a restaurant and lounge bar directly on the seaside. The rooms feature a bed draped with a mosquito net and have a balcony with views of the Indian Ocean. Each air-conditioned room has a flat-screen satellite TV, wardrobe. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes and the bar boasts delicious cocktails. Guests can enjoy the sunset on the pool terrace. "The view from the pool is absolutely stunning! It's in a great location - about 10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town where you can find the tuk tuks. The staff were very welcoming throughout our stay and breakfast was really good! The staff were also very helpful - when they couldn't serve an early breakfast, they told us where we could go instead. They were also able to provide information for our next destination. AMEX is accepted. We'll be returning!"
"Some things weren't communicated well in the beginning - like having to order breakfast the day before. They were not able to serve an early breakfast to fit with our activities for the day. The wifi doesn't work from the bedroom."
"I love the connection I had with the staff. I love the location and access to the main town. The food was great especially on the hosted "pirate party night". Which they had a live band! Fred the owner is extremely outgoing and helpful and makes you feel comfortable 100% of the way."
