"The pool is a must have in this hot city. Staff were very nice and helpful and after we asked for an extra pillow, the room was also pretty comfortable."

"Because it’s the hottest city in Central America, a aircon would’ve been nice because the room got really hot. But the fan did its job just fine!"

"Good location, nice staff, free coffee in the morning, nice common areas to sit, good value for money. I would definitely recommend!"

"Our private room with shared bathroom did not have any windows which made the room a bit less comfortable. Other guests were quite noisy into the night. There wasn't anywhere to store clothes which is quite difficult for a longer stay."

"It was located in the centre which was great! The staff was lovely and very helpful! The swimming pool was a great bonus , coming home after our tours it was nice to relax in the pool ! We did 2 tours, one volcano boarding at Cerritos before which was fun! The next day we went to the smoky canyon, a long drive but absolutely worth it!! Our guides chino and marcelo were fantastic and the canyon is stunning"

"Lazybones is a lovely hotel in an old colonial building. Well located in the city. The swimming pool is great in such a hot city. The best part is the staff. Such lovely people! Super helpful and kind."

"The location is perfect on the north side. It is a bit further from the main areas but you are still within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The peaceful surroundings are worth it. Taxis are very cheap but beware if you are out late as they don’t always work after hours. You can also rent bicycles and scooters. The property is right on the water and so beautiful. Our hosts were lovely and will go beyond to take care of your needs."

"Good value for my money. The staff is really friendly and helpful for recommendations. I think this place is perfect for someone extending it's stay in ometepe. By having a scooter or motorcycle, the rest of the island stays accessible for a 20-30minutes ride, so the location was not an issue. The place is peaceful, and you can get a good rest. They do room service every day, to make sure everything is clean and in order. They are receptive and understanding, so whatever the issue, they are open to listen and talk in a positive manner. The breakfast is not really elaborate, it is healthy. I had a combination of mostly fruits, pancake, eggs, and a supprisingly great tasting coffee, enough to start a day well."
