"Qua locatie: er is niet veel te doen in Koudum, denk dat je vooral om de streek daar naartoe moet gaan. Er is een knusse gezamenlijke eet-/verblijfsruimte waar je ook een lekker ontbijtje krijgt."

"We sliepen in een voormalig politiegebouw, wat nog goed terug te zien was. De omgeving en de kamer waren heerlijk stil en het ontbijt was prima. Eitje wordt vers voor je gebakken."

"Lovely hotel and beautifully designed. We enjoyed using the pool which goes from indoor to outdoor, as well as the 2 saunas. The hotel has a lovely bar and restaurant, we really enjoyed our evening meal here. There was also the option to book a cinema room or karaoke. We visited during winter so didn't feel up to walking the forest in the cold, but I can imagine in summer it's beautiful especially with the option to rent bikes. Would recommend!"

"The room was impressively spacious with plenty of storage to actually unpack and settle in, plus a couple of comfortable chairs that made it feel more like a proper retreat than just somewhere to sleep. A great view added to the sense of space, and the bathroom came with a full-size bath, which is always a welcome bonus. The staff were brilliant too, genuinely friendly and helpful throughout without ever feeling over the top. The location is the standout. Hard to fault it. Everything you'd want to see or do felt within easy reach, and arriving or leaving couldn't have been more straightforward. It's the kind of spot that makes the whole trip feel effortless.
